How CLL is diagnosed

CLL often presents without symptoms and is diagnosed incidentally through blood work5,6
  • The diagnosis of CLL requires ≥5 x 109/L B lymphocytes in the peripheral blood, sustained for ≥3 months

  • Clonality of B cells should be confirmed by flow cytometry

  • Symptoms usually develop slowly
