Sample form for ordering FISH panels

ordering a FISH panel

This is one example of how an order form might look; forms may differ from lab to lab.

CLL=chronic lymphocytic leukemia, Del=deletion, FISH=fluorescence in situ hybridization, IGHV=immunoglobulin heavy-chain variable region gene.

Testing for IGHV mutational status

Mutational status of the immunoglobulin heavy-chain variable region gene (IGHV) also can help to predict outcomes in CLL.
